IAM STILL LISTENING TOO THIS MASTERPIECE
love ya lizzy
that bass has the balls of a fucking elephant
live performance that sounds pretty spot-on to what you buy at the record store. What's not to love? One of the best live bands ever.
This song knocks me on my ass Everytime i love it
Amazing
Holy crap this is heavier than the album version!
The greatest lyricist that we've had the pleasure to listen too. Thank you Philip Lynott. For some of the best rock tracks ever written . And this is a perfect example. ☠️🤘
Anyone notice pre chorus Phil says cold stone sober, cold stone sweat? I thought it was cool because it’s a new tune and they were just there to rock. Not worrying about being perfect, just there to rock. Legend.
For 1983 John Sykes is getting a monster tone out of that Les Paul/Marshall.
Anyone ever notice that here, Phil sings "cold stone sober" instead of like the studio album "stone cold sober" ?
Amazing band from start till the end!
Джон Мать его Сайкс!!!!
Back in the 80's my High School, Headbanger buddy turned me on to this song. I was hooked!!
Fuckin banging 🏆
What a riff!
ruclips.net/video/tQQdB17hiOQ/видео.html. Here’s a ripping version with Damon Johnson and Ritchie Faulkner!
Sykes. Fucking legend.
Phil...the best unknown legend of all time.
a real legend
Phil's voice was so flexible...hard rock to a ballad..soulful..cool..wouldn't it have been great to pair Robin Trower and Phil Lynott.?
Such a bad ass lineup of Lizzy man
epic❤
Ignacio peligro ??
Eres de chile no??
Sykesss is guitar god!!!❤😊
Such a killer song!!! 🎸
Wonderful - thank you very much.
John wrote so many hit songs yet is so unknown compared to other users of les Paul's like jimmy page or slash. It's too bad he doesn't want to perform anymore because he could really put on a show and make his les Paul's sing
Man I wish Phil could have lived longer to make more amazing tunes like this with Sykes
Who's listening in 2023?? This one never gets old! From beginning to end, this song still elevates my metal spirit into a frenzy. I had this song ringing in my head today so had to find this clip. What an awesome demonstration of Thin Lizzy. Lynott's voice delivering that distinct, in-depth power, and John Sykes just shredding the heck out of that Les Paul! It's a journey! They were underrated then, they are underrated today! Rock on brothers and sisters!
🤙🏼
a fucking real classic!!!!
Lizzy were NEVER underrated. Always brilliant. Many bands that came after them cited them as a major influence ... Iron Maiden, Metallica, most of the NWOBHM bands, practically any band using twin guitar harmonies.
7270 Just got here Your right on every level. Its like a conspiracy To write them out of history.. In the 80s Lizzy rolled off the tounge With motorhead & ACDC..
😮
To whoever's running the video mix: There's another guitar player out on stage too!
Thin Lizzy in top gear
This is a REALLY good performance. Phil is really tight and Sykes is fire as always. Shame the camera barely shows Gorham lol
Irish with colour thee. Only 1 legend the forgotten 1 Phill Lynott
Beat that U2
This is thin Lizzy k
Ye check dis la
qué temazo!
Thin Lizzy’s best !
I really miss this group.
I want to complain about the bass being louder than the guitar and making it hard to hear the guitar, but then thought of it from a bass players perspective. Us guitar players have it great, we can almost always hear the guitar first and foremost but the same cannot be said for bass players
is this Mustaine on the left 🤣
Phil looks like he's having a great time, those little smiles that say "yes I know, we ARE the fuckin bollocks!"
Hell of a Band!
Man what an awesome song 🤘
The Sykes era of thin lizzy really slaps hard. It’s really different to the previous versions of lizzy but it was a class note to end on for the band rather than the snowy era.
Totally awesome.
Dang, this song sounds like it could have been written and recorded today!!
& 3 years later Phil would pass away. A true visionary. Imagine where they’d be today.
Killer on the loose is ace too check out phils bass on that track too awesome awesome rock band
